Organization

Team with clear roles and permissions

Work together in one organization: invite members, choose roles and control who can see and edit calendars, invoices, payments or company settings — including optional permissions for teachers.

Roles expanded over time — including from version 1.88.0

Roles that match the job

Six roles from Owner to Accountant — each with clear rights. See the overview further down this page.

Share calendars or view only

With calendar view, instructors see all Outdrive calendars without editing other instructors’ lessons and driving tests. Ideal for cover and overview.

Fine-grained permissions

Optionally allow “show balance”, “manage payments”, or “next invoice” for teachers — without the full invoice list. Business info, services, and invoice design are for admins by default; you can grant individual employees view or edit permissions.

Activate and deactivate members

When someone leaves, deactivate them without data loss. Inactive members disappear from calendar and assignment pickers but remain in history.

Manage members easily

Owners and admins can send password reset links, change member emails, and resend pending invitations — without leaving Team.

Roles at a glance

When you invite someone you pick a role. The owner is created with the school and always has full rights.

Owner

Creates the organization and has full rights to all content and settings.

Administrator

Full rights like the owner — team, invoices, banking, and business settings.

Teacher with calendar sharing

Everything except invoices and business settings; access to all Outdrive calendars.

Teacher with calendar view

Like teacher, plus read all calendars — without editing others’ lessons or tests.

Teacher

View and edit everything except invoices and business settings.

Accountant

Manage invoices, expenses, banking, and related reports.

Beyond the role: fine-tune rights such as balance and payments.

Included in the Outdrive app
